Steve Taylor is a Drummer, Composer, Band leader & Educator 

Particularly known for his work in Jazz, Funk-fusion & World music. 

Steve performs & collaborates with many artists, most recently with songwriter and virtuoso guitarist daughter Rosie Frater-Taylor on Jazz FM album of the week 'Bloom' praised by the likes of Bluey of Incognito, Jazzwise magazine album of the year, Gilles Peterson, Tom Robinson- 6 music and Don Was of Blue Note records.   Steve has notably shared the stage & airwaves with the likes of top music producer/artist Nitin Sawhney, UK soul stars Mica Paris, Omar , Jazz vocalists Claire Martin obe, Ian Shaw (BBC Radio 2), Broadcaster Emma Freud, vocalist & radio 2 presenter Janey Lee Grace (Wham/Radio 2 Steve Wright show), Clare Teal show (BBC Radio 2) Maggie Reilly (Moonlight Shadow- Mike Oldfield) BBC London's Jumoke Fashola 'Inspirit show', 'Jazz Verse Jukebox' residency at Ronnie Scott's Club,  Philharmonia Orchestra at Royal Festival Hall, and with his own jazz-swing-funk-fusion 16 piece Steve Taylor Big Band Explosion, as heard at London's famous Ronnie Scott's club.

Steve has Recorded at Abbey Road, Air Studios & Miloco studios. Appeared on BBC Radio's 2&4, BBC London // Jazz FM (Jools Holland show) //Ronnie Scott's Club // Royal Festival Hall // Edinburgh Festival and all over the UK & Europe
